This report, produced by students in Professor Ceasar McDowell’s 2018 class Engaging Community: Models and Methods for Designers and Planners at MIT, applies the Civic Design Framework to three case studies.

The Upgrade Cambridge design brief considers an ongoing campaign underway in Cambridge, Massachusetts to provide high-speed municipal broadband for all residents, regardless of their ability to pay.
