Hello everyone!

The Move Team hopes you and your loved ones are safe, healthy, and hanging in there during these difficult times. Now more than ever, we remain committed to enhancing and elevating the ways in which we engage each other and our systems despite the barriers, as we collectively transform our civic engagement infrastructure.

To that end, we are excited to share team updates and new and longstanding initiatives with you, our movers and shakers! We hope you’ll join us and our partners in actively designing a new, and hopefully, more equitable world.

In solidarity,

The Move Team

America’s Path Forward (New!)

What is your question about the future of America?

We believe that asking questions helps us understand ourselves and allows others to see what is truly important to us. Listening to each other's questions and experiences provides a meaningful way for us to connect. America’s Path Forward (AFP) is an initiative to solicit and bring forward questions that the public feels our nation must address. This process cuts through the noise of opinion makers, media, and political parties. It directly promotes the public’s voice about the questions they believe are the most central for this country. Our goal is to amplify that voice and bring members of the public into dialogue, as a means to heal our present, honor the roots of our past, and choose our future.

AFP has set out to provide the public with a means to build the trust and understand the needs to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic in a manner that maintains the dignity and well-being of everyone.

AFP is a joint project with FindOurView. Follow America’s Path Forward through Instagram and Twitter.

We Who Engage (New!)

We Who Engage is an initiative that highlights through narratives how people of all backgrounds engage with, strengthen and transform our democracy’s civic engagement infrastructure.

The purpose of We Who Engage is to understand the following: How do people think about their civic engagement, and see themselves participating? What actions inform how people think about an issue that is important to our society?

We’ll explore these questions through interviews with movers and shakers just like you! Be on the lookout for posts on The Move’s Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The Move Podcast

As you all know, The Move Podcast is our longstanding signature project. With our featured guest speakers, we discuss how we can support each other in creating a democracy that survives the many challenges we face and that harnesses the collective intelligence of the public to do so. Season 3 of The Move Podcast will pick up in Summer 2020 to explore themes of morality, faith, and spirituality in planning. Follow us to stay up-to-date on our guest speakers and discussions!
