Anna Draganova
Anna Draganova called herself an ambitious, positive and curious student.
Anna is an AUBG freshman coming from Sofia. She has two brothers, one of them studying there as well, and a younger one year old. At 19, Anna is in her first year of studies in the university, majoring in journalism and psychological studies.
“I chose AUBG as a university to study at because I consider it the best choice in Bulgaria and it has many possibilities to broaden horizons,” Anna admits.
She chose her major in journalism and psychology, because she considers herself a lover of photography, and likes to write articles, and at the same time she reads a lot of psychology books and wanted to expand her knowledge in this sector.
Leaving aside her studies, Anna says that in her free time she loves to read, write and take pictures wherever she goes.
Anna assures that it has been easy for her to make friends at AUBG, as well as to become independent. “I feel proud of learning to live on my own, surround myself with good people, and live in another city. But I also think I feel a little disappointed with myself in my decision making because I don’t know if I’m doing it correctly and sometimes I need the approval of others to make decisions,” she says.
Anna is of the opinion that everyone should be more understanding of other people, as she says she is like that. “I want people to remember me with the energies I give off towards other people and how I influence them in a good way and how I make them feel,” she admits.
In addition to these qualities, Anna defines herself a serious, kind, and understanding person with people, she considers herself a good friend.
She has as her life motto “there is always a way out of everything”, because as she explains “I have always been able to get out of difficult situations and I have realized that I am capable of doing everything I set my mind to.”
Anna is a dreamer and an enthusiastic person, excited about what the future may bring. “Looking into the future motivates me a lot, makes me more stable, and pushes me to want to explore and know a lot more,” she says.
As an upcoming AUBG graduate, Anna is focused on her studies with the goal of pursuing a master’s degree when she finishes her degree to thoroughly specialize in her studies. “Once I finish studying, I would like to work or go into being a journalist writing articles in a magazine or become a professional photographer,” Anna relates.
“Things happen on the way they are supposed to happen,” Anna concludes.
