Whaley | Introduction
What’s the problem?
- Public token/investor communities operated on Telegram or Discord suffer greatly from spams, FUDs (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt), and even agitations.
- Cryptocurrency whales struggle to find each other to share private information and investment ideas.
- No option for major token holders to directly communicate with token foundations to influence and receive updates.
Introducing Whaley
We came up with Whaley in hopes of providing a place for true token holders for private conversation. We inspire to make a place for more transparent discussion within users of similar interests.
Whaley provides cryptocurrency Telegram groups powered by Proof of Holding.
By adding a layer of user wallet verification (Proof of Holding), verified cryptocurrency holders can meet investors for discussion in a private community. Users must satisfy different entry requirements for each group to join.
We support verification for exchange account, personal wallet, and even CDP ID (Verify with your locked ETH!!).

The whole process of filtering the users is done by Whaley Bot. Not only it manages users within the group, but it also filters out meaningful news and tweets for group members to read based on the filter set by the admins.
On top of that, Whaley bot is available privately as well as within groups for the following functions:
- Check your portfolio, your portfolio distribution (in %), and specific token holding and even share with others
- Look up ICO performance, current token price, etc.
- Keep up to date with your favorite token, your cryptocurrency exchange, and even this ecosystem

Here are some example use cases for Whaley:
Alice participated in Security Token Offering for ABC token recently and wish to find major stakeholders to communicate with ABC token foundation. She verifies her ABC token with Whaley and creates a Whaley telegram group with entry requirement of 1000 ABC tokens(~100,000 USD value). She now has a place to be updated with ABC token and to connect with other stakeholders to collectively influence token foundation in case of unwise decision making.
Bob is looking for similar investors who could share meaningful information about the market. Bob has around one million USD invested in cryptocurrency. Bob finds out about Whaley and a Whaley private community with an entry requirement of 100,000 USD in cryptocurrencies. Since Bob had enough funds invested, he signs up and gets his exchange wallet verified. He can now joins the room to share meaningful information from other investors as well as conveniently get updated on news and his portfolio prices via Whaley Bot.
