In the earlier days, the professionals involved in the field of Animation used to click the pictures of the object in a specific time frame and then place them in a particular sequence to form the desired scene or Animation. 2-D Animation is defined as the study of the motion of an object concerning the two coordinates, which means the object can move left or right, up or down, but can never be seen coming towards or away from the viewer.
Significance of 2-D Animation over the traditional Animation
Since the 2-D Animation uses vector graphics and bitmap to create animated characters, one can easily edit the animated images which are not possible in the case of traditional Animation.
The 2-D Animation allows saving the progress made in the creation of an animation image. Thereby, the designer can quickly restore the work in the desired version whenever required. This feature is not available in the case of traditional Animation.
A 2-D Animation creation interface is loaded a large number of tools and techniques; thereby, the designer can create visually appealing graphics with ease, which is not applicable in the case of the traditional Animation.
