A football oriented video game featuring cars powered with rockets was developed in 2015 by Psyonix. Till date, it is considered as one of the most played online multiplayer game. This Gameplay involves players to hit the ball into the opponent’s goal with rocket-powered cars. Although it looks just like any sports video game, this game’s Artificial intelligence is very powerful to handle the ball game strategy. This provides a realistic experience. The idea of clubbing the fascination of soccer and cars has begun to gather momentum, and Rocket League is a fine example of perfecting this idea.
Developed by Mojang AB, Minecraft is a sandbox game which was first designed by the designer Markus Persson and then by Mojang AB. With the prestigious title of ‘Game of the Year’ in 2012 this game cannot be compared with any other conventional game since it has no specific objectives to achieve. The players have to arrange 3D objects known as blocks to create a gaming world thereby making it a never-ending game. What’s unique about Minecraft is that it utilizes the full potential of its Artificial intelligence which adapts the player’s customization and offers the power of creating virtual environments indefinitely. Despite having multiple competitors, Minecraft continues to soar and surpass them due to its creativity and the freedom which it gives to the users.
Monolith Productions developed the game First Encounter Assault Recon which is better known as F.E.A.R. It is a first-person shooter video game which was released in 2005. It garnered a lot of attention in the gaming community for its in-game Artificial intelligence. It is so efficient and amazing that it gives stiff competition to today’s modern games. It’s a typical tactical shooter game with an unnerving storyline. What’s different about this game is that the opponent’s Artificial intelligence is extremely good and acts on even the tiniest details. For instance, in the game, if a player takes cover behind a barrier, the enemy Artificial intelligence quickly processes and throws a grenade to eliminate a player. Apart from this, what stands out in this game is its Artificial intelligence communication. The enemies talk and chalk out their movements according to that of the player. The cherry to the cake is that F.E.A.R has pioneered what Artificial intelligence could not achieve in years that are giving human-like experience. This is the reason why it continues to be the greatest shooter game in Artificial intelligence.
5. THE LAST OF US
Developer: Naughty Dog
In the end, The Last of Us is an action-adventure video game published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2013 and developed by Naughty Dog. The game covers the story of a duo of survivors who tread to find a cure for a plague that has infected most of the North Americans in the U.S.A. Gameplay offers a third-person perspective as the player goes through a host of tasks and scenarios spread across the game world. Every character has two sets of behavioral traits — on the offensive front (opponent AI side) and the other on the defensive side (player’s side). It all depends on how the players respond to the situation which involves different characters. Artificial intelligence switches are based on these responses and acts accordingly. However, the criticism revolving around The Last of Us is that at times the Artificial intelligence behaves weirdly. Nevertheless, the game patches have fixed this issue. The biggest advantage of the last of us is that it gives a human-like experience with the help of Artificial intelligence.
