WIEF Podcast Series #1: Meet SpotDraft, the AI-powered startup revolutionizing contract management for small businesses
The Wharton India Economic Forum (WIEF) team kicks off its original podcast series with a look at SpotDraft, winner of the people’s choice award at the recent-most Wharton India Startup Challenge.
SpotDraft is an AI-driven end-to-end contract life-cycle management platform launched in January 2017 by Harvard Law School graduate Shashank Bijapur and Madhav Bhagat. SpotDraft’s technology is currently aimed at small businesses and freelancers to help them draft solid contracts, send automated invoices and payment reminders.

Our podcast is part of an ongoing effort within the WIEF team this year to have a dialog on business in India on a more continuous basis, and accompanies our new blog.
Hosted by WIEF during the Mumbai Conference, the annual Wharton India Startup Challenge (WISC) is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship in the country. Past participants of the challenge have gone on to raise $50Mn+ funding from 20+ institutional investors. WISC 2018 edition had 500+ applications from 24+ cities battling to win $20k+ in prize money and other mentorship, legal and PR incentives. This year, WISC has had a record number of applications, and promises to be bigger and better than the previous year.
