Leader after leader, including many U.S. Presidents, Senators, Congressmen, and leaders in the Military, Academia, and the Media have warned the public that owners of banks and major corporations conspire to control the levers of governmental power. The tendency of humans to conspire to gain an advantage, at the expense of their fellow man, is universal, timeless, and self-evident. Laws against conspiracy are written into the legal code of nearly every country. Conspiracies happen in every government and at all times of history. Conspiracies are most expected where persons can gain the greatest power, profit, position, privilege, and prestige. In short, conspiracies are most prevalent within the circles of Government. Believing that there are no conspiracies in government is ignorance.

This list of warnings starts with the first President of the United States.

“However, combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterward the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” …

“… The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism…. encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one, and thus to create … a real despotism. A just estimate of that love of power, and proneness to abuse it, which predominates in the human heart is sufficient to satisfy us of the truth of this position.” George Washington, General of the American Revolution, 1st President of the United States. -Farewell Address (Sept 19, 1796)

George Washington, 1st President of U.S.

“But if in the pursuit of the means we should, unfortunately, stumble again on unfunded paper money or any similar species of fraud, we shall assuredly give a fatal stab to our national credit in its infancy. Paper money will invariably operate in the body of politics as spirit liquors on the human body. They prey on the vitals and ultimately destroy them. Paper money has had the effect in your state that it will ever have, to ruin commerce, oppress the honest, and open the door to every species of fraud and injustice.” George Washington in a letter to Jabez Bowen, Rhode Island, (Jan. 9, 1787)

“Banks have done more injury to the religion, morality, tranquility, prosperity, and even wealth of the nation than they can have done or ever will do good.” John Adams, 2nd President of the United States; “The Works of John Adams, With a Life of the Author, Notes, and Illustrations”, p.375 Published (1856)

“The art of constructing governments has usually been to organize the State in such a manner, as that this operation could be carried on to the best advantage for the administrators; and the art of administering those governments has been so to vary the means of seizing upon private property, as to bring the greatest possible quantity into the public coffers, without exciting insurrections. Those governments which are called despotic, deal more in open plunder; those that call themselves free, and act under the cloak of what they teach the people to reverence as a constitution, are driven to the arts of stealing. These have succeeded better by theft than the others have by plunder; …Under those constitutional governments the people are more industrious, and create property faster; because they are not sensible in what manner, and in what quantities, it is taken from them. The administrators, in this case, act by a compound operation; one is to induce the people to work, and the other to take from them their earnings.” Joel Barlow, inAdvice to the Privileged Orders in the Several States of Europe — Resulting from the Necessity and Propriety of a General Revolution in the Principle of Government’ (1795)

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.”[I]f the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks…will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered…. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.” Charles C. Mayer, (Spokesman for End Poverty in Civilization Society) attributed these words/sentiments to Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States, regarding the 1809 Re-charter of the Bank Bill. From the written extension of Charles Mayer’s statement to the Seventy-fourth Congress, First Session, on H.R. 5357, p. 809, First Session, on H.R. 5357, regarding the Banking Act of 1935, during Hearings before the Committee on Banking and Currency of the U.S. House of Representatives. (March 25, 1935).

“… [T]here is an evil which ought to be guarded against in the indefinite accumulation of property from the capacity of holding it in perpetuity by ecclesiastical corporations. The power of all corporations, ought to be limited in this respect. The growing wealth acquired by them never fails to be a source of abuses.” James Madison, Founding Father, 4th U.S. President, 5th U.S. Secretary of State (1810) The Papers of James Madison, Retirement Series, vol. 1, 4 1820, pp. 600–627. Essay between (1817–1832)

“How prone all human institutions have been to decay; how subject the best-formed and most wisely organized governments have been to lose their check and totally dissolve; how difficult it has been for mankind, in all ages and countries, to preserve their dearest rights and best privileges, impelled as it were by an irresistible fate of despotism.” James Monroe, 5th President of the United States, Book ‘The Papers of James Monroe: Selected Correspondence and Papers’, (1776–1794)

“The rich, the well-born, and the able, acquire an influence among the people that will soon be too much for simple honesty and plain sense, in a house of representatives. The most illustrious of them must, therefore, be separated from the mass, and placed by themselves in a senate this is, to all honest and useful intents, an ostracism.” John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the United States

“Gentlemen! I too have been a close observer of the doings of the Bank of the United States. I have had men watching you for a long time, and am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves. I have determined to rout you out, and by the Eternal, (bringing his fist down on the table) I will rout you out!” Andrew Jackson, 7th President of the United States, from minutes of the Philadelphia committee of citizens sent to meet with President Jackson, (February 1834) as written in book, ‘Andrew Jackson and the Bank of the United States’ (1928) by Stan V. Henkels

“A power has risen up in the government greater than the people themselves, consisting of many, and various, and powerful interests, combined into one mass, and held together by the cohesive power of the vast surplus in the banks. This mighty combination will be opposed to any change; and it is to be feared that such is its influence, no measure to which it is opposed can become law, however expedient and necessary; and that the public money will remain in their possession, to be disposed of, not as the public interest, but as theirs may dictate.” John C. Calhoun, U.S. Congressman, U.S. Senator, 7th Vice President of the United States, U.S. Secretary of State, U.S. Secretary of War, In his Book The Works of John C. Calhoun, Vol II pg 568 (1883) Speech delivered in the House of Representatives, (May 28, 1836)

“The world is governed by very different personages to what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.” Benjamin Disraeli, Prime Minister, United Kingdom, (1874–1880) (in Coningsby, a Political Novel set against a background of the real political events; Book 4, Chap. 15., Pg. 131, published (1844)

“…[T]his cruel war is nearing its end. It has cost a vast amount of treasure and blood… It has indeed been a trying hour for the Republic; but I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war. God grant that my suspicions may prove groundless.” Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States, in a letter to Col. William F. Elkins dated (Nov. 21, 1864), as quoted on page 954 of the second volume of “Abraham Lincoln: A New Portrait,” Lincoln biography written in 1931 by Emanuel Hertz. Accord, Bulletin of the Abraham Lincoln Association (ed. 1932)

“The money power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Corporations have been enthroned, and era of corruption will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people, until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the republic destroyed.” Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States, in a (1864) letter to William Elkins regarding the National Banking Act

“The government should create, issue and circulate all the currency and credit needed to satisfy the spending power of the government and the buying power of consumers. The privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of Government, but it is the Government’s greatest creative opportunity. By the adoption of these principles, the long-felt want for a uniform medium will be satisfied. The taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest, discounts and exchanges. The financing of all public enterprises, the maintenance of stable government and ordered progress, and the conduct of the Treasury will become matters of practical administration. The people can and will be furnished with a currency as safe as their own government. Money will cease to be the master and become the servant of humanity. Democracy will rise superior to the money power.” Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States, in Senate document 23, page 91, (1865), as Quoted in ‘The Grip of Death: a study of modern money, debt slavery and destructive economies’ by Michael Rowbotham, page 221

“… never was there a measure offered to the Congress so vast and far reaching. … It makes the House of Representatives and the Senate, … the absolute dictator of the financial and business affairs of this country.” James A. Garfield, 20th President of the United States, Spoken on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives (5 April 1880), published in Financial Catechism and History of the Financial Legislation of the United States from 1862–1896 (1882) by S. M. Brice, p. 223 (Cong. Record, 10:2140)

“As we view the achievements of aggregated capital, we discover the existence of trusts, combinations, and monopolies, while the citizen is struggling far in the rear or is trampled to death beneath an iron heel. … Corporations, which should be the carefully constrained creatures of the law and the servants of the people, are fast becoming the people’s masters.” Grover Cleveland, State of the Union 1885–1888

“The few who understand the system, will either be so interested from its profits or so dependent on its favors, that there will be no opposition from that class.” The Flaming Sword, (British Newsletter) Vol. XII, №42 p. 7, (Sept. 2, 1898)

“If this mischievous financial policy, which has its origin in North America, shall become indurated down to a fixture, then that Government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off debts and be without debt. It will have all the money necessary to carry on its commerce. It will become prosperous without precedent in the history of the world. The brains, and wealth of all countries will go to North America. That country must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on the globe. The Daily Times, Portsmouth, Ohio, pg. 7, Quoting European reporting on U.S. Monetary Policy (Oct. 20, 1898)

“…[T]he old parties have turned aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare, they have become the tools of corrupt interests which use them impartially to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government, owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.” Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US President, Platform of the Progressive Party, founded by former president Roosevelt (1912)

“A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.” Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States, in his book “The New Freedom: A Call for the Emancipation of the Generous Energies of a People”, chapter 8 (1913)

“This Act (the Federal Reserve Act, Dec. 23rd 1913) establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President (Woodrow Wilson) signs the Bill, the invisible government of the Monetary Power will be legalized… The worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency Bill.” Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., US Congressman (1913)

“Money power denounces, as public enemies, all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes.” William Jennings Bryan — US Congressman (1891–1895), US Secretary of State (1913–1915)

“In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press …. They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers.” Oscar Callaway, U.S. Congressman (1917)

“What is being arranged in Washington these days is really a gigantic experiment in internationalism. We are witnessing the creation of a supranational control of the world’s necessities. The old notions of sovereignty no longer govern the facts. We have entered upon another phase of political unification, a phase greater in its methods to the formation of national states in the nineteenth century. This is the birth of the League of Nations.” Walter Lippman American writer, journalist, political commentator; one of the fathers of propaganda April 1917

“By this means government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft.” John Maynard Keynes, British Lord (father of Keynesian Economics) in his book ‘The Economic Consequences of the Peace’ (1920).

“What is important is to dwell upon the increasing evidence of the existence of a secret conspiracy, throughout the world, for the destruction of organized government and the letting loose of evil.” Christian Science Monitor editorial, June 19th, 1920

“The real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self created screen….At the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties.” John F. Hylan Mayor New York City, reported in New York Times (1922)

“From the days of Spartacus, Weisskopf, Karl Marx, Trotsky, Rosa Luxemburg, and Emma Goldman, this world conspiracy has been steadily growing. This conspiracy played a definite recognizable role in the tragedy of the French revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the 19th century. And now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their head and have become the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.” Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, to the London Press, in (1922)

“The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board administers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people’s money” Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., US Congressman (1923)

“Capital must protect itself in every possible way, both by combination and legislation. Debts must be collected, mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When, through the process of law, the common people lose their homes, they will become more docile and more easily governed through the strong arm of government applied by a central power of wealth under leading financiers. These truths are well known among our principal men who are now engaged in forming an imperialism to govern the world. By dividing the voter through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting for questions of no importance. It is thus by discreet action we can secure for ourselves that which has been so well planned and so successfully accomplished.” American Bankers Association, (1924)

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of…in almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind, who harness old social forces and contrive new ways to bind and guide the world.” Edward Bernays, in his book ‘Propaganda’ (1928)

“We are at present working discreetly with all our might to wrest this mysterious force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local nation states of the world. All the time we are denying with our lips what we are doing with our hands.” Arnold Toynbee, Professor London School of Economics, in a speech before the Institute for the Study of International Affairs in Copenhagen (June 1931)

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson…” Franklin D. Roosevelt
32nd President of the United States and 44th Governor of New York State, from his letter to “Colonel” Edward M. House, dated (November 21, 1933)

“Mr. Chairman, we have in this Country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks, hereinafter called the Fed. The Fed has cheated the Government of these United States and the people of the United States out of enough money to pay the Nation’s debt. The depredations and iniquities of the Fed has cost enough money to pay the National debt several times over. …

“This evil institution has impoverished and ruined the people of these United States, has bankrupted itself, and has practically bankrupted our Government. It has done this through the defects of the law under which it operates, through the maladministration of that law by the Fed and through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it.” Louis T. McFadden U.S. Congressman, Dem. Speech in the U.S. house of representatives. (June 10th, 1934)

“War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. …

I spent thirty-three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country’s most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle-man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.” Smedley D. Butler, US Major General, Marine Corp, In his book, “War Is a Racket” (1935)

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation then by deflation, the banks and the corporations will grow up around them, will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.” Charles C. Mayer, testimony Before the Committee on Banking and Currency, House of Representatives, Seventy-fourth Congress, First Session, on H.R. 5357, p. 799, attributing the words to Thomas Jefferson (1935).

“Fifty men have run America, and they have within their power, by reason of the wealth which they control, the ability to paralyze the whole country, for they control the circulation of currency and can create a panic whenever they will.” Joseph P. Kennedy, New York Times (July 26, 1936)

“It was Henry Ford who said, in substance, this,It is perhaps well enough that the people of the Nation do not know or understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.’” Charles G. Binderup, U.S. Congressman, Nebraska, (March 19, 1937), Congressional Record — House 81:2528. A paraphrase of Henry Ford’s memoir ‘My Life and Work’ (1922)

“The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism — ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power…Among us today, is growing a concentration of private power without equal in history.” Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 32nd President of the United States, message to the US Congress (April 29, 1938)

“History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and its issuance.” Olive Cushing Dwinell, in ‘The Story of Our Money’ p. 71 (1946)

In the essay, “The Engineering of Consent”, Bernays defined the art of manipulating people. He maintained that “entire populations, which were undisciplined or lacking in intellectual or definite moral principles, were vulnerable to unconscious influence and thus susceptible to wanting things that they do not need. This is achieved by manipulating desires on an unconscious level. The central idea behind the engineering of consent is that the public or people should not be aware of the manipulation taking place.” Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, March 1947

“We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent.” James Warburg, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member, to The Senate Foreign Relations Committee, (February 17, 1950)

“How can we account for our present situation unless we believe that men high in our government are concentrating to deliver us to disaster? This must be the product of a great conspiracy, a conspiracy on a scale so immense as to dwarf any previous such venture in the history of man. A conspiracy of infamy so black that, when it is finally exposed, its principals shall be forever deserving of the maledictions of all honest men. Who constitutes the highest circles of this conspiracy? About that we cannot be sure. We are convinced that Dean Acheson, who steadfastly serves the interests of nations other than his own, the friend of Alger Hiss, who supported him in his hour of retribution, who contributed to his defense fund, must be high on the roster. The President? He is their captive. . . . He is only dimly aware of what is going on. . . . What is the objective of the great conspiracy? I think it is clear from what has occurred and is now occurring: to diminish the United States in world affairs, to weaken us militarily, to confuse our spirit with talk of surrender in the Far East and to impair our will to resist evil. To what end? To the end that we shall be contained, frustrated and finally: fall victim to Soviet intrigue from within and Russian military might from without.” Senator Joseph McCarthy, alleging a Communist Conspiracy to weaken the U.S. in Speech delivered before the Senate, Congressional Record, 82d Cong. 1st sess. vol. 97, pt. 5, p. 6602. (June 14, 1951)

“The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes.” Felix Frankfurter, Supreme Court Justice (1952)

“Gradually, by selective breeding, the congenital differences between rulers and ruled will increase until they become almost different species. A revolt of the plebs would become as unthinkable as an organized insurrection of sheep against the practice of eating mutton.” …

“Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible.” Bertrand Russell, The Impact of Science on Society pgs. 49–50, (1953)

“Today the path of total dictatorship in the United States can be laid by strictly legal means, unseen and unheard by the Congress, the President, or the people. Outwardly we have a Constitutional government. We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government — a bureaucratic elite.”

We have a well-organized political-action group in this country, determined to destroy our Constitution and establish a one-party state . . . It operates secretly, silently, continuously to transform our Government . . . This ruthless power-seeking elite is a disease of our century… This group . . . is answerable neither to the President, the Congress, nor the courts. It is practically irremovable. William Jenner, U.S. Senator, speech in The Congressional Record, Proceedings and Debates of the 83rd Congress, Volume 100 part 2 (1954)

“…all of us here at the policy-making level have had experience with directives…from the White House…. The substance of them is that we shall use our grant-making power so as to alter our life in the United States that we can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.” H. Rowan Gaither, Jr., President — Ford Foundation (told to Norman Dodd, Congressional Reese Commission 1954)

“The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists”. J. Edgar Hoover, FBI Director, quoted in The Elks Magazine (August 1956).

“It is perfectly possible for a man … to be under no physical constraint and yet to be a psychological captive, compelled to think, feel and act as the representatives of the national state, or of some private interest within the nation, wants him to think, feel and act. … The nature of psychological compulsion is such that those who act under constraint remain under the impression that they are acting on their own initiative. The victim of mind-manipulation does not know that he is a victim. To him the walls of his prison are invisible, and he believes himself to be free. That he is not free is apparent only to other people. His servitude is strictly objective.” Aldous Huxley, Author, Lecturer, Visiting Professor at MIT, from his book, Brave New World Revisited, (1958)

“The most powerful clique in these (CFR) groups have one objective in common: they want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the U.S. They want to end national boundaries and racial and ethnic loyalties supposedly to increase business and ensure world peace. What they strive for would inevitably lead to dictatorship and loss of freedoms by the people. The CFR was founded for “the purpose of promoting disarmament and submergence of U.S. sovereignty and national independence into an all-powerful one-world government.” Harpers Magazine, July 1958

“This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes.” Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States and Supreme Allied Commander in World War II, as recorded in his televised farewell speech (1961)

“It is ironical that the only nation which affirmatively expresses a dependence upon and belief in Almighty God in its birth certificate, should now be in mortal combat for its very existence with a godless conspiracy intent upon conquering the world, and reverting human society to the hazards and indignities of the Dark Ages.” Loyd Wright, Former President of the American Bar Association, BYU Speeches of the Year, (Nov. 20, 1961)

“For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence — on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match.” John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United States, in an Address Before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, Waldorf Astoria Hotel New York -Referring to hidden powers manipulating the World) (APRIL 27, 1961)

“Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States.” Barry Goldwater, US Senator and Presidential Candidate, (1963)

“The case for government by elites is irrefutable.” William Fulbright, U.S. Senator, Former chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, stated at a symposium entitled: ‘The Elite and the Electorate — Is Government by the People Possible?’ (1963)

“There are two governments in the United States today. One is visible. The other is invisible…The first is the government that citizens read about in their newspapers and children study about in their civics books. The second is the interlocking, hidden machinery that carries out the policies of the United States in the Cold War…This second, invisible government gathers intelligence, conducts espionage and plans and executes secret operations all over the globe…The Invisible Government is not a formal body. It is a large, amorphous grouping of individuals and agencies drawn from many parts of the visible government. It is not limited to the Central Intelligence Agency, although the CIA is at its heart; nor is it confined to the other agencies which comprise what is known as the intelligence community…The Invisible Government includes, also, many other units and agencies, as well as individuals, that appear outwardly to be a normal part of the conventional government. to be a normal part of the conventional government. It even encompasses business firms and institutions that are seemingly private.” David Wise, Journalist at New York Herald Tribune, White House Correspondent, and Fellow at Wilson International Center for Scholars, with Thomas B. Ross, from their book, ‘The Invisible Government’ (1963)

“The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nation states involved. As managers and creators of the system, they will rule the future.” Barry Goldwater, U.S. Senator & Republican Presidential Candidate, in his book: ‘With No Apologies’ (1964)

“The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences.” Carroll Quigley, “Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time”, G S G & Associates Pub (1966)

Changing Hood Ornaments is exactly the right image — it is after all, how the elite, who pretty much destroyed what was America think of political parties, voting, America, and government-in-general…

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy.” –Carroll Quigley, U.S. President Bill Clinton’s mentor, “Tragedy and Hope,” pg. 1247, (1966)

“The depression was the calculated ‘shearing’ of the public by the World Money powers, triggered by the planned sudden shortage of supply of call money in the New York money market….The One World Government leaders and their ever close bankers have now acquired full control of the money and credit machinery of the U.S. via the creation of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.” Curtis Dall in “Franklin Roosevelt, My Exploited Father-in-Law” (1968)

“Speaking of a future at most only decades away, an experimenter in intelligence control asserted, ‘I foresee a time when we shall have the means and therefore, inevitably, the temptation to manipulate the behavior and intellectual functioning of all the people through environmental and biochemical manipulation of the brain.’” …
“The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values.
Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.”
Zbigniew Brezinski, Between Two Ages, America’s Role in the Technotronic Era (1970)

“The Council on Foreign Relations is ‘the establishment’. Not only does it have influence and power in key decision-making positions at the highest levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also announces and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify the high level decisions for converting the U.S. from a sovereign Constitutional Republic into a servile member state of a one-world dictatorship.” John Rarick, Former Congressman, (1971)

“The economic Crash of ’29 and the Great Depression were caused by the money vultures and foreign swindlers of the Federal Reserve withholding currency from circulation and raising interest rates after an inflationary easy money policy in the early 1920s. The Federal Reserve’s fear of excessive speculation led it into a far too deflationary policy in the late 1920s.” Senate Report 93–549, “Destroying the village in order to save it.” (1973)

“The New World Order will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down…but in the end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece will accomplish much more than the old fashioned frontal assault.” Richard Gardner, CFR member, writing in the April 1974 issue of the CFR’s journal, Foreign Affairs.

“The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining super capitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control. … Do I mean conspiracy? Yes, I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.” Larry P. McDonald, U.S. Congressman, killed or captured near Sakhalin Is. Russia in the shootdown of Korean Air Lines Flight 007, in “Introduction” to The Rockefeller File, a book by Gary Allen (1975)

“There exists a shadowy government, with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of national interest, free from all the checks and balances, and free from the law itself.” Daniel K. Inouye, US Senator, Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Secret Military Assistance to Iran and the Nicaraguan Opposition, summary in public hearings on the Iran-Contra affair. (1987) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbFphX5zb8w

“The planning of UN can be traced to the ‘secret steering committee’ established by Secretary [of State Cordell] Hull in January 1943. All of the members of this secret committee, with the exception of Hull, a Tennessee politician, were members of the Council on Foreign Relations. They saw Hull regularly to plan, select, and guide the labors of the [State] Department’s Advisory Committee. It was, in effect, the coordinating agency for all the State Department’s postwar planning.” Professors Laurence H. Shoup and William Minter, writing in their study of the CFR, “Imperial Brain Trust: The CFR and United States Foreign Policy.” (Monthly Review Press, 1977)

“The New World Order under the UN will reduce everything to one common denominator. The system will be made up of a single currency, single centrally financed government, single tax system, single language, single political system, single world court of justice, single state religion…Each person will have a registered number, without which he will not be allowed to buy or sell; and there will be one universal world church. Anyone who refuses to take part in the universal system will have no right to exist.” Dr. Kurt E. Koch, (June 30, 1978)

“We’ll Know Our Disinformation Program Is Complete When Everything the American Public Believes Is False.” William Casey, CIA Director 1981–1987, responding to question from Ronald Reagan, U.S. President about Casey’s goals for the CIA, as quoted by reported Barbara Honegger, who attended their meeting in the Roosevelt Room in the West Wing of the White House, (Feb. 1981) https://www.thedailysheeple.com/cia-flashback-well-know-our-disinformation-program-is-complete-when-everything-the-american-public-believes-is-false/

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.” Carroll Quigley, from his book, “The Anglo-American Establishment” (1981)

“The Federal Reserve is answerable to no one.” Ronald Reagan, 40th U.S. President (1984)

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.” David Rockefeller, Baden-Baden, Germany (1991) http://www.bilderberg.org/1991.htm

“Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 LA Riot]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an “extraterrestrial” invasion], whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government.” Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evian's France, (1992) http://www.bilderberg.org/1992.htm

“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. In their totality and in their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat with demands the solidarity of all peoples. But in designating them as the enemy, we fall into the trap about which we have already warned namely mistaking systems for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.” Alexander King and Bertrand Schneider ‘The First Global Revolution’, A Report by the Council of the Club of Rome by (1991)

“In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all.” Strobe Talbot, Deputy Secretary of State, TIME, (July l992)

We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order.” David Rockefeller, quoted at a U.N. dinner in (1994) Reported by Larry Flynt, in article ‘Common Sense’ (09/20/2009)

“The New World Order cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the single most significant component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change its perceptions.” Dr. Henry Kissinger, World Action Council, (April 19, 1994)

“The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer. Change cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it’s perceptions.” Henry Kissinger, World Affairs Council Press Conference, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel , (April 19th 1994)

The division of the United States into federations of equal force was decided long before the Civil War by the high financial powers of Europe. These bankers were afraid that the United States, if they remained in one block and as one nation, would attain economic and financial independence, which would upset their financial domination over Europe and the world. Of Course, in the ‘inner circle’ of Finance, the voice of the Rothschilds prevailed. They saw an opportunity for prodigious booty if they could substitute two feeble democracies, burdened with debt to the financiers, in place of a vigorous Republic sufficient unto herself. Therefore, they sent their emissaries into the field to exploit the question of slavery and to drive a wedge between the two parts of the Union…. The rupture between the North and the South became inevitable; the masters of European finance employed all their forces to bring it about and to turn it to their advantage.” G. Edward Griffin, in his book on the Federal Reserve Bank titled, ‘The Creature From Jekyll Island’ (1994)

“We are not going to achieve a new world order without paying for it in blood as well as in words and money.” Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., in Foreign Affairs (July/August 1995)

“The technological era involves the gradual transition to a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up to date and complete files containing even the most personal information about each and every one in the population”. Zbigniew Brzezinski, National Security Advisor (1977 to 1981), from his book; ‘The Grand Chessboard’, (1997)

You know, by the time you become the leader of a country, someone else makes all the decisions. You may find you can get away with virtual presidents, virtual prime ministers, virtual everything.” U.S. President Bill Clinton, Monopoly Men (1998)

“Sarah, there’s a government inside the government and I don’t control it.” — Bill Clinton speaking to Sarah McLendon, owner of the Washington Post (199?)

“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on.” George W. Bush, 43rd U.S. President, Making jokes? During his first appearance at a Gridiron Club Dinner (2001).

“The most secret knowledge, a science which outdates history, is the science of control over people, governments and civilizations. The foundation of this ultimate discipline is the control of wealth. Through the control of wealth comes the control of public information. Through the control of news media comes thought control. A significant portion of the American public is yet to become aware of the Invisible Government of Monetary Power.” Testimony of Lt. Col. Roberts, testimony before a special joint committee of the Wisconsin State Legislature -Pg. 37. Also found in A Nation Betrayed, A 10-Page Summary (2001)

“Since the late 1940s, the United States has been deliberately engaged in an imperial project, and anyone who would hold the office of the presidency has to be willing to serve that end. All presidents have to promote the national security state, both domestically and in American foreign policy, if they wish to attain and hold on to power.” Morris Berman, Professor & Historian, in his book, ‘The Twilight of American Culture, Dark Ages America, Why America Failed’ (2001)

“The Plan is for the United States to rule the world. The overt theme is unilateralism, but it is ultimately a story of domination. It calls for the United States to maintain its overwhelming superiority and prevent new rivals from rising up to challenge it on the world stage. It calls for dominion over friends and enemies alike. It says not that the United States must be more powerful, or most powerful, but that it must be absolutely powerful.” Dick Cheney, Vice-President of the United States lecture at West Point Military Academy, (June 2002)

“(It isn’t) that US foreign policy is cruel because American leaders are cruel. It’s that our leaders are cruel because only those willing to be inordinately cruel and remorseless can hold positions of leadership in the foreign policy establishment; it might as well be written into the job description. People capable of expressing a full human measure of compassion and empathy toward faraway powerless strangers…do not become president of the United States, or vice president, or secretary of state, or national security adviser or secretary of the treasury. Nor do they want to.” — William Blum, from “Rogue State: A Guide to the World’s Only Superpower” (2002)

“By the end of this decade we will live under the first One World Government that has ever existed in the society of nations … a government with absolute authority to decide the basic issues of human survival. One world government is inevitable.” Pope John Paul II head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State from 1978 until his death in 2005

“First reason is, it’s not authorized in the Constitution, it’s an illegal institution. The second reason, it’s an immoral institution, because we have delivered to a secretive, body the privilege of creating money out of thin air; if you or I did it, we’d be called counterfeiters, so why have we legalized counterfeiting? But the economic reasons are overwhelming: the Federal Reserve is the creature that destroys value.” Ron Paul, U.S. Congressman, ‘MSBNC — The Fed Caused the Bubble’ (March 20, 2008)

“In the US, there is basically one party — the business party. It has two factions, called Democrats and Republicans, which are somewhat different but carry out variations on the same policies. By and large, I am opposed to those policies. As is most of the population.” Noam Chomsky Der Spiegel Online, (October 10, 2008)

… “I am delighted to be here in these new [Council on Foreign Relations] headquarters. I have been often to, I guess, the mother ship in New York City, but it’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department. We get a lot of advice from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing and how we should think about the future. Hillary Rodham Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State, Foreign Policy Address at the Council on Foreign Relations, Washington, DC (July 15, 2009) http://www.state.gov/secretary/rm/2009a/july/126071.htm

“What we should all argue for is the use of freedom rather than having a monetary system with regulation domination that is run by a cartel and the special interests — that is the kind of system we have today.” — “A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank.” — “Believe me, the next step is a currency crisis because there will be a rejection of the dollar, the rejection of the dollar is a big, big event, and then your personal liberties are going to be severely threatened.” Ron Paul, U.S. Representative, (1997–2013)

“The crash has laid bare many unpleasant truths about the United States. One of the most alarming, says a former chief economist of the International Monetary Fund, is that the finance industry has effectively captured our government — a state of affairs that more typically describes emerging markets, and is at the center of many emerging-market crises. If the IMF’s staff could speak freely the U.S., it would tell us what it tells all countries in this situation: recovery will fail unless we break the financial oligarchy that is blocking essential reform.” Simon Johnson, author, in his Book; The Quiet Coup (2009)

“Of all the many ways of organizing banking, the worst is the one we have today.” Mervyn King, Governor of the Bank of England, (October 25, 2010)

“Some even believe we (the Rockefeller family) are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” David Rockefeller, CEO Chase Manhattan Corporation, in his book “Memoirs”, p.368, Random House (2011).

“There’s definitely a deep state,” Snowden told the Nation in 2014. “Trust me, I’ve been there.” https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/09/05/deep-state-real-cia-fbi-intelligence-215537

“We are ruled, though it may be difficult to imagine, by a small dynastic power structure, largely consisting of powerful banking families, such as the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, and others. They emerged in controlling the financial system, extended their influence over the political system, the educational system, and, through the major foundations, have become the dominant social powers of our world, creating think tanks and other institutions which shape and change the course of society and modern human history.” Andrew Gavin Marshall, in his Article ‘The Propaganda System That Has Helped Create a Permanent Overclass Is Over a Century in the Making’, http://andrewgavinmarshall.com Originally posted at AlterNet (April 14, 2013) https://dandelionsalad.wordpress.com/2013/04/15/the-propaganda-system-that-has-helped-create-a-permanent-overclass-is-over-a-century-in-the-making-by-andrew-gavin-marshall/

“We’ve become, now, an oligarchy instead of a democracy. I think that’s been the worst damage to the basic moral and ethical standards to the American political system that I’ve ever seen in my life.” Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the United States, 26th Governor of Georgia, speaking to Oprah Winfrey, on Winfrey’s TV show -Super Soul Sunday, Season 7 Episode 620 Aired on CC TV-14, (09/27/2015)

“[Existence of unlimited political contributions] violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president. And the same thing applies to governors and U.S. senators and congress members. So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over. … The incumbents, Democrats and Republicans, look upon this unlimited money as a great benefit to themselves. Somebody’s who’s already in Congress has a lot more to sell to an avid contributor than somebody who’s just a challenger.” Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the U.S., Speaking on the Thom Hartmann Program (Radio Show) Tuesday (July 28, 2015)

FBI Report, redacted https://www.activistpost.com/2016/10/clintons-fbi-files-mention-shadow-government.html (2015)

“[T]here would be a need to submit to one single government. A world government. And this world government will govern without our consent. They will govern according to their own concept of governance. Their own ideas about freedom; their own ideas about what is right and what is wrong. And when this happens, of course, then the New World Order would have succeeded fully. What we are seeing today is a process towards that direction. The establishment of a world government that is responsible to nobody.” Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, 4th and 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia, speak ‘Conference on the “New World Order”: A Recipe for War or Peace’ (April 7, 2015)

“We are dealing with a criminal undertaking at a global level … and there is an ongoing war, it is led by the United States, it may be carried out by a number of proxy countries, which are obeying orders from Washington … The global war on terrorism is a US undertaking, which is fake, it’s based on fake premises. It tells us that somehow America and the Western world are going after a fictitious enemy, the Islamic state, when in fact the Islamic state is fully supported and financed by the Western military alliance and America’s allies in the Persian Gulf. … They say Muslims are terrorists, but it just so happens that terrorists are Made in America. They’re not the product of Muslim society, and that should be abundantly clear to everyone on this floor. … The global war on terrorism is a fabrication, a big lie and a crime against humanity.” Dr. Michel Chossudovsky, Professor Emeritus of Economics University of Ottawa, speaking at the, ‘International Conference the “New World Order”: A Recipe for War or Peace’ (April 7, 2015)

“What [U.N. Agenda 2030] is, basically, is a roadmap to totalitarian global government. And they don’t even they don’t even really bother to hide it that much anymore. The slogans, ‘Transforming our world’ and ‘Nobody’s going to be left behind’. And they emphasize this over and over again. Nobody is going to be left behind. You can not run to the woods. There is no escaping them. So if you think I’m going to build a bunker, -that’s not going to work. Nobody is going to be left behind. … But the end goal is really, very simply, a totalitarian world system.” video Channel ‘Anonymous’, Christmas Warning YOU are being Distracted!’, (Dec. 25, 2016) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgA2RYoSEn0

“95% of the world’s terrorist attacks are orchestrated by the CIA. The CIA does not work on behalf of the American people or act in their interests. The CIA is a rogue element of the deep state, and an expression of the will of the world oligarchy and their vision for a new world order.” Vladimir Putin, addressing Russian ministers in St. Petersburg, Novorossia Today. (April 6 2017)

“2 percent of the passionate will control 98 percent of the indifferent 100 percent of the time. The more I’ve thought about this phrase, the more I believe it. There is now a small group of passionate people working hard to destroy our American way of life. Treason and treachery are rampant and our rule of law and those law enforcement professionals who uphold our laws are under the gun more than at any time in our nation’s history. These passionate 2 percent appear to be winning.” Michael Flynn, U.S. General Army Published June 29, 2020, https://www.westernjournal.com/exclusive-gen-flynn-dont-act-2-people-control-98/
