Don’t hide your ideas!
I often talk to startup people who are super careful not disclosing their ideas. But nobody can help them if they invent the next “big thing” just in their mind, not validating it with the real world.
A startups’ goal is to search for a business model. Unless you don’t want to waste time and money you should quickly talk about your ideas. You can trust your environment. The advantage is if the idea is not good you can rework it in an early stage. A good idea is one thing, but an idea without execution and hard work is worthless. Thomas Edison once said:
“Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration.”
Talk about your ideas. Is your fear real or just imagined?
