What Is College For?

For your final written assignment in this course, I would like you to write a thoughtful response to the question, What is College For? I would like you to post your answer, or “story,” on the social media site Medium. This will give you practice making your writing public, something that is becoming inevitable in this information age. The best responses will balance personal reflections with the topics and readings that we have been discussing this semester, including reflections on Fredonia’s baccalaureate goals. They will develop ideas beyond the general, focusing on specifics when necessary, using all the good strategies for effective writing that you have learned in your English classes!
