As you walked into my life

A Poem about Love — as I experienced it

To one day be loved so much,

Never knew how it would feel,

That no pain would be so grave-

No hurt that would not heal.

You came in my life so silently,

I didn’t just see you come –

And when you went far away,

My eyes were so wet and numb.

I knew then what was love,

I discovered it in you –

Never knew there’d be a feeling so pure,

That love could ever be so true!

So selfless an emotion could be,

The anchor of my existence you became –

Miraculously my life transformed,

And nothing was ever the same.
