100 words I wrote when I lost the love of my life at 16.

It’s like the swing of a bat,

The curl after hitting the ball just right,

The distance it travels,

How high over the fence it goes,

And the uncertainty of where in the outer walls it lands,

Until some random walks by and pockets it,

That’s how it feels when I talk to her,

She is everything,

but if you lose sight of her,

she becomes everything to someone else.
