She Taught Me About Real Love On Her Water Bed
And it blew my mind!
It was 1:30 am, and I woke up to her hand gently massaging my chest. It felt so good. My mind drifted with the light touch of her hand, and I didn’t want her to stop.
Earlier that day, I had taken Lisa, my girlfriend at the time, to have her knee operated on. The surgery was successful, and afterward, I brought her back to her house and got her situated. Then I was off to teach Kung Fu for the evening.
I had been nursing what I believed to be some sort of sinus infection for a few days that had dropped into my chest, with it only worsening.
I forged on with work and taught a full night of classes, which multiplied my cough and how miserable I felt. It was like being stabbed in the chest with a knife each time I coughed.
Not one to complain about illness or injury, Lisa could still see how miserable I was.
I had a few bites of some enchiladas she made but didn’t really feel like eating. And with that, we went to bed.
And that is where the story started.
I was grateful when I woke from the intensity of my cough at 1:30 in the morning and had Lisa there trying to soothe my pain…
