True Beauty
What is love to you
That day,
I saw the brightest smile in the world
A smile that even outshone morning sunshine
That day,
your optimistic gesture
break the ice in the room
and melt my heart away.
It left me wondering,
what makes you enjoy the life you live
to the point where
you can influence others to smile?
And then I try to muster up the courage to get to know more about you.
The next day,
I dive deeper into your world
I thought it would be an ocean full of ideas and surprises.
But turns out,
I’ve been thrown away from an airplane
into a sky full of clouds and rainbows
Between those clouds, I could see
Your perspective on the world we live in
A philosophy that you believed in
Is a true beauty.
