it may seem like a storybook tale
a fantasy too good to be true
not even when Disney proclaimed it
that love arrives unexpectedly
so don’t go chasing after it
simply let love find its course
in each unanticipated turn
for when you least foresee it
you’ll see love by your side
reflecting on your journey
love was your constant guide
heart seemingly asleep
it leaped at the sight
of a stranger’s endearing face
grew during a friend’s embrace
and no disguise can conceal it
when you let love be your compass
