How to Make a Logo with AI in 2025 (Step-by-Step Looka Tutorial)

Step 1: Visit Looka’s Homepage
The first step is to head over to Looka and enter your company name.
I’m designing a logo for my new series on YouTube called AI with Anangsha. That’s what we’re going to write as the name of my new business.
Then, we will click on “Get Started”.
Step 2: Pick Your Industry
The next step is to pick your industry.
Since we can only pick one industry, I’ll choose “technology.”
Step 3: Choose a Logo Style
Next, you have to select a few of the logos you like.
That way, Looka would know what vibe you’re going for and incorporate that in the logo for you.
For me, I want a minimalistic, technical-looking logo. I don’t want it to have a lot of visuals, mostly text.
Once you’ve picked your styles, click on “Continue”.
Step 4: Select Your Brand Colors
Then the next step is to select some colors which reflect the vibe of your logo, what colors you’re looking for in your brand.
I picked —
- Yellow — It depicts sunshine, joy, happiness, intellect, cheerfulness, and energy
- Blue — It stands for depth, trust, loyalty, confidence.
- Purple — It represents luxury, wealth.
You can select a maximum of three colors to represent your brand. Once done, click on “Continue”.
Step 5: Add a Slogan (Optional)
The next optional step is to select a slogan.
I’ve just written a random slogan: Discover Cool AI Tools and Technology. Let’s see what it looks like as a logo.
Step 6: Select Symbol Types
Then we have to select some types of symbols. I picked — technology, idea, digital, internet, excellence, creativity.
Looka also has the option to pick your own symbols.
You can pick up to 5 symbols — either by typing in your own keywords or selecting 5 from the list Looka shows you.
Click on “Continue.”
Then Looka will come up with a list of logos you can customize as per your needs.
Step 7: Browse the Logos Looka Designed for You
In less than 30 seconds, Looka made a list of cool logos for me.
Wow. If I had to hire a logo designer to get this many logos, it would cost me more than $1,000. But with Looka, I’m getting so many cool designes for so cheap.
If you don’t like any of these, you can click “Load More.” The AI will generate a few more logos depending on the inputs you provided.
Step 8: Customize Your Logo
Pick the logo you like the best, and click on “Customize.”
You’ll see a whole brand kit — like how this logo would look on LinkedIn, merch, stickers, social media posts, business cards, and more. You can just plug and play and see which style works best for you.
But for now, let’s see what customization options are available on Looka.
1. Change layout
Here, you can change how the text and symbol are arranged with respect to each other in your logo.
2. Palette
With “Palette,” you can change the color palette of your logo.
3. Background
You can customize the background texture and gradient with the “Background” option.
4. Name
With the “Name” option, you can change the font style of your logo text.
5. Slogan
With “Slogan,” you can change the font style of your brand’s tagline.
6. Symbol
With “Symbol,” you can generate multiple different styles of the symbol in your logo, and pick the one that best depicts the vibe of your business.
7. Container
With “Container,” you can see how your logo plays with the blank space around it.
Step 9: Preview and Download
Once you’re done making all changes, click on “Preview”. This will give you an idea of how your logo would look on your letterheads, brand guidelines, and all the other digital marketing assets you want to prepare.
You can also share your design WIP with your team, your co-founder, or friends for feedback.
Once you’re done with all these customizations, the next step is to click on “Download”. This is where you have to select which plans you want.
