Diversity in the IT industry

Yesterday at SoCraTes in Switzerland I was allowed to attend a session about gender and general diversity in our industry and the totally lack of it.
In our culture, society and workplaces there is a deep rooted lack of diversity and a misbehaviour in a lot of places.
I learned about Allyship an I especially liked the idea of borrowing your privileges to less privileges ones.
