26 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Visit Peru

1. Machu Picchu is the only interesting thing to see:
2. And sunrises here are overrated:
3. You will bump into dangerous alpacas everywhere in Cusco:
4. But once you visit Machu Picchu, there is nothing else to see:
5. So you won’t be posting pictures on Instagram:
6. So don’t even think you’ll use your camera again:
7. Because your shots will turn out awful:
8. If you are going to Lima, you won’t miss out anything:
9. Because the city is cloudy and sunsets are colorless:
10. If you get hungry, you probably won’t have anything to eat:
11. Especially if you love fresh seafood:
12. Or chicken…
13. Peruvian food isn’t great all:
14. So I hope you bring extra snacks:
15. Peru looks so boring so far:
16. So you shouldn’t come with friends or family:
17. Because there is no history in this country:
18. Or culture:
19. There’s nothing fun to do in the city:
20. Besides eating unpleasant street food:
21. And drinking distasteful Peruvian crafted beer:
22. Peru is all about nature:
23. And you won’t see anything beautiful:
24. Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth going to Peru:
25. But I guess there’s nothing special here:
26. So why even bother:
If you made it this far, you might understand that this was all sarcasm.
Peru is my hometown and is the land of Inka heritage combined with Spanish, African American and Asian traditions.
