The poet says that it is possible for heaven to be on earth and presents a recipe.

Ooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth?
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven, love comes first
We’ll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth

Before you embark on creating something, you should know and be excited about your creation — you should know its worth. The poet stirs your imagination by saying, “Imagine what a great value to have heaven on earth.”

She starts with the basic premise — in heaven love is the foundation— love comes first.

When the night falls down
I wait for you and you come around
And the world’s alive with the sound
Of kids on the street outside

When you walk into the room
You pull me close and we start to move
And we’re spinning with the stars above
And you lift me up in a wave of love

The lines above describe simple things that describe a loving family life.

In this world, we’re just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
Baby, I was afraid before
But I’m not afraid anymore

The poet says that we have just begun to understand the miraculous power of love and it gives her strength.

The poet concludes by saying, “with love you can create heaven on earth.”
