4 New Court Designs for Pinnacle Bank Arena
There’s a lot going on with the Nebraska Men’s Basketball program these days.
They just hired former Chicago Bulls coach, Fred Hoiberg, which can only be described as “OMG” and then, like, 28 fire emojis. They just bid farewell to Tim Miles, who bowed out in his typically endearing manner. And they are already in the midst of a super-important recruiting cycle for Hoiberg and his new staff, that will primarily focus on recruiting a current Husker to stay on the team and a JuCo transfer who averaged 23/5/5.
On top of all of that, the athletic department has put out a few new court designs for the Sea of Red to vote on. I won’t show them here, because, they’ve been done.
What I will show you here is some fresh, new ideas that would really spruce up the home court at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Let’s take a look.

Yes, that’s Isaiah Roby’s afro, poorly photoshopped onto the Sower from the top of the Nebraska State Capitol dome. Yes, it’s dope. Yes, it’s all really just an elaborate ploy to try to keep him from leaving.
This is just a tweet from Smashmouth showing their lead singer and Guy Fieri grilling outside and posing like a couple of insane people. Nebraska’s center court logo…it’s not for everyone.
The Avengers are so hot right now. Why not see if, for a few measly million, we can get Marvel to plunk down some ad revenue on a dope Tim Miles/Avengers mashup at center court?
