Located on the second floor of a residential building in Wan Chai, Beyond Cakes is a little cafe that serves cakes and coffee, as well as provides a nice and peaceful space for you to chillax.
I came for the Tofu Yuzi Cube, but it was sold out. I visited one hour prior to the closing time, so I guess I need to pay an earlier visit again next time. Nevertheless, the Matcha Opera was very delicious! Layers of sponge cake, cream, and matcha butter cream gave different texture and taste to my taste buds. Can’t stop digging in!
The cup of Hojicha Latte made a nice drink to go with the Matcha Opera. Rich hojicha flavour with a smooth body. Love it!
Definitely visiting again for the Tofu Yuzi Cube :)
