Date of Visit: 5 Dec 2021

Newly opened in Park Summit, CherCher is a cafe that has tons of Instagrammable backgrounds and props for people to take zillions of photos of themselves, and their products. Visiting on a late Sunday afternoon, I was surprised to see how full it was. Two indoor tables were seated with people doing commercial shootings of their crystal products and blythe dolls all around the cafe. What a scene!

It took a bit of waiting before I got a table, the waitresses were very friendly though. I don’t mind waiting, but seeing people taking up tables and seats doing nothing, or commercial shooting was really frustrating, as you can sense that they wouldn’t be leaving in another hour or so. I was on the edge of leaving for another cafe/restaurant when a waitress brought me to an outdoor seat for waiting.

Dirty Mocha; Mezzi Rigatoni with Dried & Fresh Tomatoes, Sausage Ragu

For HKD$138, the portion of pasta is quite small, but at least it tasted ok. The dried and fresh tomatoes were quite sour though, and there was less than one sausage chopped up.

As for the Dirty Mocha, it’s fair. Just a very small cup.

This meal costed HKD$194 (with 10% service charge), surprisingly pricey. I guess it’s just a one-time visit to CherCher, there are better options nearby.
