Hide & Seed Specialty Coffee offers a buy-one-get-one-free cookie deal on Wednesday, so I visited the coffee shop to enjoy this perk, and was surprised by a very nice dining experience with great cookies and coffee.
The cookies were awesome, way better than what I expected! I thought that house made cookies in coffee shops are always quite sweet, but these two were so enjoyable with nutty peanut butter and molten chocolate. They were reasonably priced too (HKD$12 each), with reference to their size.
The Appleccino was absolutely delightful. The apple juice in the bottom layer made the espresso less bitter (to my palate) and very refreshing to drink.
A perfect combo for an afternoon tea. Hide & Seed also provides a cozy environment for you to chill or work, as it is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets in Wan Chai. Highly recommend this hearty cafe to you!
