Ho Che Noodles

I usually don’t have much expectations on yellow restaurants, and treat it as a bonus if they serve delicious food. Therefore, Ho Che Noodles really gave me a nice surprise by serving delicious “kart noodles”.

Black Truffle Lomien with Grilled Ox Tongue and Pork Belly

There are quite a number of choices for noodles and toppings on the menu, and I finally decided to try these Black Truffle Lomien (dry noodles), as they are quite special. And it didn’t disappoint. The thin noodles were quite al dente, the amount of black truffle was generous, so that you can mix it thoroughly with the noodles. There was a small bowl of soup to ease the mixing of noodles. That bowl of soup was so delicious too! Homemade type with splendid flavours and seemingly MSG-free.

The toppings I chose — Grilled Ox Tongue and Pork Belly were both very good. The ox tongue was not chewy at all, and decently flavoured with Japanese teriyaki sauce. The pork belly slices looked and tasted like bacon, also very tasty too!

Definitely coming back to Ho Che Noodles again to try out other toppings and noodle styles!
