Superb Pina Colada Pancake

Le Jardin à Soho is a relative new cafe/restaurant in Central. You can tell it’s an Instagrammable one looking at the store front and furniture. It isn’t a big restro, and if you want a comfortable seating area, make sure you make a reservation beforehand, as only the two-seater bar table and hot al fresco area is reserved for walk-in customers.
Le Jardin à Soho wasn’t our first choice, we stumbled upon it after failing to get a table in a few other restaurants. We got the bar table as we didn’t make a reservation. The customer service was really so so, but luckily the delicious pancake made it up.
I was glad that I ordered this Pina Colada Pancake on a hot and stuff Sunday afternoon, with icy coconut ice cream on a chocolate “shell”. The ice cream was so smooth and had a rich coconut flavor, superb topping for the pancake. The sour pineapple cubes on the side were quite refreshing and juicy. The pancake itself was quite thick and very fluffy! A nice surprise!
