Lee Kitchen Korean Bibimbap Menu

My friend and I were wondering what to have for lunch in Central on a Saturday afternoon, and came across Lee Kitchen on Stanley Street. We were attracted by this menu, and decided to give it a try.

Kimchi, Mushroom, BBQ Beef and Vermicelli Bibimbap

I like how Lee Kitchen allows you to “build” your own bibimbap. There are also a number of other Korean bento options that look very attractive if you want something else.

The bibimbap I got was very satisfying. Most of the time, Korean food is equivalent to “super spicy” and “thirsty” to me. Yet, this bibimbap just got the flavoring right. The kimchi was standard. The mushroom was juicy and nicely flavored. The BBQ beef was rightly flavored and very tender. The Korean vermicelli was thoroughly cooked and wasn’t chewy at all. The beef sauce (which came in a separate small dish) was awesome to add a bit of extra flavor to the bibimbap.

A nice to go place for a quick lunch or take-away if you work in Central.
