I have a feeling that Cheung Sha Wan might be the next battlefield for cafes after Sham Shui Po. Newly established in Cheung Sha Wan, Lumière is a cafe that excels in creating a cozy and zen environment with the use of lights, woods and furniture. An afternoon tea here definitely serene our souls.
The iced latte was very enjoyable with aromatic coffee and smooth milk. But what gave us a nice surprise was the mocktail Strawberry Colada with strawberry, pineapple, half & half (cream/milk). The strawberry and pineapple made a surprisingly refreshing flavour. The cream and milk made the whole mocktail very decent to drink.
The carrot cake was very standard with a strong, nice carrot flavour; in a moist and dense texture.
The strip of quotes served with the drinks are quite heart-warming. Love this idea so much :)
