Nggy’s Kitchen

Walked pass Nggy’s Kitchen a number of times when I strolled around PMQ. It radiates a warm Japanese vibe and has a nice decoration with dried flowers. Thanks to my friend for making reservation, I got to try it before it takes a break on 9 June 2020.

Even these little things let you know how much effort the staff have put in creating a nice Japanese vibe in the restaurant
Mackerel Ochazuke with Yuzi and English Mustard

I got this set of Mackerel Ochazuke with Yuzi and English Mustard as main. The mackerel was very meaty and nicely baked with delicious fish flavor. The ochazuke (rice with tea) was so yummy! The yuzi and English mustard definitely worked their magic — yuzi for freshness (perfect for summer), English mustard for more flavorings. Nom nom! Miso soup with tofu, seaweed and mushroom as well as the cucumber sides were very delightful too. A very satisfying meal indeed!

Fuji Mountain Milk Pudding

And of course, we got desserts to satisfy our sweet tooth. This Fuji Mountain Milk Pudding was definitely a piece of therapeutic food art! The baby blue colour was so therapeutic, and it was so fun to see the pudding wobble. It had a very strong and delicious milk flavor, I can’t stop digging in as it was so yummy.

Grape Cream Cake

We also got this Grape Cream Cake to share. The grape chunks were very refreshing and crispy, which gave you a nice interesting feeling chewing them. The cream cake looked ordinary, yet very tasty with the silky cream and spongy cake. It’s satisfying yet not stuffing at all. Gorgeous!

Definitely wish to visit Nggy’s Kitchen again after it reopens somewhere else.
