Entrance of Nichijou

With so many new cafes opening in Hong Kong, it’s not easy to stand out, especially when they are all serving similar food with similar interior design and decoration. I guess it takes a good story and superb food to leave a good impression to your customers. And Nichijou can definitely do it.

Dried flowers from the ceiling
“Drink Coffee when You See This”

Very popular cafe decoration in Hong Kong — dried flowers and words formed with neon lights.

Chicken Mince Skewer and Grill Mackerel with Soba

To be honest, this soba set appeared to be a bit expensive on the menu. But it’s definitely worth it once I saw the real thing and tasted it. The portion was actually generous! The chicken mince skewer was nicely grilled, so that the chicken meat was very juicy and tasty. The grill mackerel was standard yet delicious. The soba? Superb! Very enjoyable on a hot Sunday afternoon! The salad and tofu were very delightful too.

Highly recommend you to give Nichijou, a cafe run by a pair of mother and daughter, a try.
