Quarter Master @ Bones & Blades

My friend and I could never imagine that we cannot get a seat for an early Sunday lunch in Sai Ying Pun. After visiting two restaurants and failed to find a table for two, we had a third time luck of having the whole Quarter Master to just the two of us.

Bones & Blades is consisted of two adjacent stores. And we can see the delicious looking meats which are also for sale through the glass windows. It also comes in handy when the waiter tried to explain the choices of meats to us.

Sausages Selection

We got two pieces of sausages to kick start the meal. The upper one is lemongrass and the lower one is Sichuan spicy. Both of them were very delicious! The Sichuan one wasn’t as spicy as we thought it would be, but with a nice cumming flavor. The lemongrass one was very refreshing. Yummy meaty pork sausages indeed.

Smokey Lamb Burger

We were given choices of pulled lamb or lamb patty. The friendly waiter recommended lamb patty, as the smokey flavor might not be as strong in pulled lamb, so we followed his suggestion.

This Smokey Lamb Burger was superb!!! The sweet bun was toasted perfectly with a crispy surface, wrapping the fluffy bread. And the lamb patty was toasted in the same perfect way, and the patty was so juicy and flavored! Love it!

Potato Gratin

Being a potato fans, I love this side of Potato Gratin dearly. The slices of potato were baked with Raclette cheese and Sage cream, making the whole dish very creamy and delicious! Yum Yum!

Would love to try out other meats next time!
