Fantastic Traditional Noodles at Affordable Price

Located in the part of Jordan with sub-divided flats, Sai Kwan Lo Jo is a take-away stall that sells traditional noodles and snacks. Seeing the needs in the hood, Sai Kwan Lo Jo also does its bit to help the community by giving out a certain amount of free noodles every day at a particular time. This is the reason why my friend and I came to check it out and to support it.
We were genuinely surprised by the quality and portion of food! For HKD$15, we got this big bowl of traditional thick noodles with delicious broth. The noodles were very al dente, and the broth? Simply superb — thick and naturally flavoured. I opted for spicy (bottom left), and the pickles were oh so good!!!
I was so full after finishing the noodles, so I brought the rice home for dinner. The rice with lard was very tasty also!
Highly recommend you to try Sai Kwan Lo Jo out! Would love to visit again for the turnip cakes!
