Got to know The Soul Room Coffee from quite a number of sponsored Instagram posts in the past few days, so my friend and I decided to check it out after having brunch in a nearby café. With a beautiful storefront decorated with woods and green plants, we are sure that this is gonna be a hot spot for photos…
Aiming to give you a holistic experience from senses to soul, The Soul Room Coffee has definitely spent some effort in decorating the café. The pretty moon (probably symbolizing something in zodiac sign or tarot or soul stones?), the plants, and the nicely chosen furniture give me a really zen feeling.
There are also related products for sale. Would love to learn more about the soul stones some day.
Since my friend and I had already eaten and had a cup of coffee, we could only try out their desserts. We ordered a Lemon Tart and a Black Sesame Cake to share.
This Lemon Tart was more on the sour side, which was great to me as I didn’t want something too sugary. It’s very refreshing indeed. Love the cookie tart base.
The Black Sesame Cake was very smooth with a rich black sesame flavor. It’s so good that I couldn’t stop digging in. Amazing!
Definitely have to try out their coffee or tea next time!
