You don’t have to care what others say all the time. Not everything is a show for the world. Sometimes we do things just because we want to.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.

Being together or apart was independent from wanting and happiness.

When men change their diets everyone is so respectful, but when women do it
everyone tries to convince them to cheat.

But being vegetarian isn’t just a diet. It’s not about vanity.

The world exists only as far as you can see. What’s above, what’s below, that’s no concern of ours. What they’ve told us before, none of that matters.

Memory is a work in progress. It’s always being reconstructed.

If feeding is a form of love, eating is a kind of submission. Meals are conversations, and what we don’t say is left over in the food.

Maybe our mothers always create a lack in us, and our children continue to fulfil the prophecy.
