MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 13
The MicroStation CONNECT Edition team is pleased to announce the availability of MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 13. This version continues to focus on frequently requested features and continues to deliver improvements with stability and performance.

Help Tab
The previously known CONNECT Services tab is now renamed as the Help tab which hosts the following:
- Help Contents
- CONNECT Advisor
- Feedback service
- Examples
- Social Media links
V8i Task Theme
If you are new to the ribbon, you can now use the V8i Task Theme in MicroStation to quickly access tools from the familiar V8i Task interface. You can turn the V8i Task Theme on from the Select Task Picker in the Quick Access toolbar, while in the Task Navigation workflow.
Removal of Welcome Screen
The Welcome Screen is now removed. Once you launch MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 13, you will see the Start Screen. The delivered examples section along with the social media links in the welcome screen have been moved to the new Help tab in the ribbon. The news and announcements along with Learn courses can now be accessed from the CONNECT Advisor in the Help tab.
Features Moved from Technology Preview to Commercial Release
The following feature that was in Technology Preview mode in previous updates has been commercially released in this update:
- Configuration Assistant — The Configuration Assistant is an upgraded version of the Configuration Migration Wizard that will help you in migrating the legacy V8i Workspaces to CONNECT Edition Configurations.
- Components Center — You can now use Components Center, a cloud-based digital component library and catalog management service, to manage your organization’s component libraries. You can choose from a wide range of available, approved content, for use in your designs. The geometry and rich data associated with the components as well as reference files and URLs are stored in Components Center and available for use in all phases of a component’s lifecycle.
If you would like the setup executable of MicroStation CONNECT Edition x64 (Full) Update 13 (SES), please follow these steps to download it from Software Downloads:
1. Sign in to https://connect.bentley.com
2. Choose Software Downloads from “My Support” section.
3. Select the Brand “MicroStation PowerDraft”.
4. Download the latest release by clicking on the arrow to expand the selection and then on MicroStation PowerDraft CONNECT Edition x64 Update 13 (SES) version 10.13.00.48
