New in MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 14 — Clash Detection Reintroduced

While the Bentley ecosystem of applications is evolving to offer a better experience for collaborating in your projects, we listened to our users’ request and reintroduced Clash Detection in MicroStation. We have also added a few fixes and support for levels in nested references when creating new job definitions.

Clash Detection only supports identifying and resolving clashes in the active DGN and session.

The workflow remains the same as Clash Detection’s V8i implementation, except that it now also benefits from CONNECT Edition’s 64bit architecture.

You still need a separate license to use Clash Detection in MicroStation, same as in V8i.

Do take advantage of this feature and share your feedback in our user forums.
