New in MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 16 — Public Technology Preview — MicroStation Startup script

MicroStation can now be executed with the help of a Startup script that can be run in the command window during installation. You can do so by selecting the checkbox for Execute Startup Script to put contents of the startup file into the command queue on startup.

In the File menu, go to Settings > Preferences > Operation category:

Command to execute startup file script: This will open help with all command options available for MicroStation.

microstation.exe -s”Startup File Path” “DGN file path”

e.g. microstation.exe -s”D:\StartupFile\cmdFile.txt” “D:\ StartupFile\test.dgn”
