This week’s Loop of the Week features photographer, Mehmet Tiryaki. Mehmet was born in Istanbul, Turkey. There, he studied economics and photography. Mehmet’s photos received many awards in Turkey and around the world. He has a passion for traveling around the world and spreading his work on social media — sometimes, he’ll create special workshops for his audience. In addition to photography, he also builds relationships with brands through the web. Currently, he’s preparing for his personal exhibition and book launch.

Mehmet shares that travel inspired him to enter photography. He’s especially interested in street, nature, and aerial photography. More specifically, he enjoys taking pictures of street animals, birds (seagulls are his favorite), and normal everyday life.

He probably has more cameras than the average person. He uses a DJI Phantom 3 Pro and Mavic Pro for aerial along with a Canon 5D and Olympus OMD M1 for everything else.

When asked about his style, he responded, “I wouldn’t worry too much about style. The secret is to shoot interesting light, have good composition, and take attractive photos that everyone would enjoy looking at.”

He says he’s particularly passionate about, he enthusiastically replied, “LIFE! It only happens once.” He lives by the quote, “Life is short. Birds are flying.”
