4 Tabletop Products to Liven Up any Living Space
“Off the Wall” Products & Why You Should Offer Them
Tabletop displays are the ideal solution for those with limited wall space, but they also make great additions to wall display orders.
Help your clients fill in and liven up under-utilized space in their homes with photographic art. Small Framed Prints, Image Cubes, Image Boxes, and Wood Boxes are a few of our “off the wall” favorites.
Small Framed Prints
With over 35 different moulding options, Small Framed Prints fit everyone’s style and complement any decor. Add an easel back to framed prints sized 5x7 through 8x10 for your clients to display on a flat surface.
Suggest a display of layered frames for your clients to display on a shelf or mantle. They don’t have to commit to a certain look — it can be easily rearranged at any time. Have frame corners or sticks on hand so your clients can confidently choose their favorite frames.
Image Cubes
Choose a 4x4 or 8x8 Image Cube for a fun three-dimensional tabletop display. Your clients can set the cube on any of its six sides to change the scene. This product gives your clients more images in one product.
Add even more dimension by offering multiple cubes to display together. They can stack or line up to spell out a word or a family name. With so many sides to work with, you can include even more images, as well as special dates or quotes.
Image Boxes
They’re highly customizable with a ton of optional add-ons. Choose a fabric or leather cover for the box or design a custom photo cover. From 4x6 to 12x12, Image Boxes don’t just look great on display; they store and protect Photo Proofs, Mounted Prints, and even Albums.
Make the most of your clients’ space by offering an Image Box with Matted Prints and a wood display stand. They can change their look at any time by pulling prints out of their box for display.
Wood Boxes
Our Wood Boxes are a natural and affordable way to safely hold, preserve, and even display their favorite prints. Wood Boxes are made from maple wood and designed to hold different amounts and sizes of loose, mounted, and matted Prints.
Personalize your client’s box even further with printing and engraving options. Choose a printed lid with optional engraving on the back to include a special date, your client’s names or your own logo.
Why Offer Tabletop Products?
If your clients don’t have a lot of wall space
You want your clients to keep returning for portraits, but you don’t want them wondering where they’re going to hang everything.
Photographic art doesn’t have to hang on the wall to make a statement. Get your clients thinking about alternative display surfaces in their home; coffee tables, shelves, dressers, end tables, desktops. Draw attention to unique home features, like mantles or built-in shelves.
For a larger, more impactful tabletop display, try one of the following:
- An Image Box with 10x10 Matted Prints + a wood display stand
- A grouping of 8x10 Framed Prints with an easel back
- A stack of 4x4 Image Cubes or a single 8x8 cube
These displays create visual appeal and draw attention at different eye levels.
To reward big purchases with more value
If you don’t offer Small Framed Prints, Image Cubes, or Image Boxes in your product collections, you can still use them to add value to your brand and delight your clients.
Use these items as value-added incentives to move your clients up to the next investment level. Or, offer them a la carte to complement products they already plan to purchase. For example, if they order Framed Prints for the wall, offer smaller framed prints to display nearby.
Don’t forget about client gifts! They’re the perfect way to surprise your top clients and show your gratitude. Some photographers include a gift when they deliver their products, while others wait and give everyone a holiday gift at the end of the year.
Photographic art doesn’t have to hang on the wall to make a statement. Educate your clients about the benefits of alternative displays.
