Local Events, Now in Your Wheelhouse Calendar

Ever wonder what specific local events are affecting the demand for accommodations in your market?

Well, good news. Now you can see local events directly on your Wheelhouse calendar!

And, you can click on those days to learn even more about how those events are impacting your nightly prices.

To pull this off, we partnered with PredictHQ, the leading event intelligence team, who is helping us provide you with an ever-richer data set that can help you & your listing thrive.

So how exactly does it work?

From your Wheelhouse account, you can connected some listings. Then, from your dashboard, you can view any of your Wheelhouse calendars to see upcoming events on your calendar.

On your Wheelhouse calendar you will see some dates that have a number of events on them. Click on any day and you’ll see some more information about how we calculated the price, including local event info!

Here are some additional details:

• Just because there is an event on a day doesn’t automatically mean there will be a price impact (yet). That could change as nearby hotels and book up.
• Sometimes there will actually be a negative local events impact. This is not a bug! That can mean a few things, and might mean that listings near you have significantly raised their prices for an event, but aren’t actually getting bookings at those inflated rates.
