I saw again tonight
I saw your beauty,
A wonderful sight

But with the dawn
I’ll lose site of you
And begin to wonder
Were you a dream come true

The memory of you
Fades in the morning dawn
Alas my dream
Another night and you are gone

I’ll dry the tears
As you leave the night
And wonder if others
Share my nightly plight
