Day Zero

Tim Kaine groggily sits up and places his feet flat on the floor. Stretches his arms, stands up, does his knee bends and torso twists. Walks to the bathroom and pastes his toothbrush.

Only at that moment does he look into the mirror. “First day of the rest of your life, Timmy,” he says and then gives his reflection finger pistols. “Pew peww.”
