Hi readers! How have you been? Today’s topic is going to be about a brand that provides equal or perhaps more value than its market price. Bioderma micellar water is the costliest micellar water available in India but also the best in my opinion. It is so worth it!

For those of you out there, who don’t know what micellar water is, it is a skin cleanser and also a makeup remover that leaves your skin hydrated. It is a favorite among beauty gurus and dermatologists for a very good reason! I know because, I tried it and I was turned immediately — from someone who uses face cleansers to someone who is a full-on promoter of micellar water! It was definitely ‘love at first swipe’ for me!

Bioderma micellar water has been a wonderful addition to my skincare regime over the years for sure! I have sensitive, combination skin and it tends to be on the drier side during winters. I appreciate the Bioderma micellar water technology so much because it has suited my skin really well and I absolutely love it!

Call it a Christmas miracle or not, but finding a great product like Bioderma micellar water was definitely a happy discovery for me! The agency that I was working with was one of the chosen ones to pitch for this brand! I think it was late October that year. Up until then I had no idea what micellar water was and to be honest it was still an emerging concept in India — so many of the women we asked as a part of our research didn’t know about it either. Turns out, it is this delightful alternative to skin cleansers!

That was how I got introduced to the brand and I am so glad this happened! We also got to do a competitive analysis and found out that Bioderma surpasses all the other brands in terms of the offering according to the target group that tried the product. The challenge at the time was to get them to become aware of the category of micellar water and its benefits and to slowly shift the consumers’ habit of using cleansers to micellar water.

Did you know: Bioderma is a French skincare company that was the first brand that invented the micellar water technology!

Every time I used a face cleanser, my skin felt dry. What Bioderma micellar water does is, it gently cleanses our skin without disrupting the natural biochemicals present in our skin, thereby avoiding striping it of the essential moisturizing naturally present skin oils that keep our skin hydrated. Moreover, every micellar water offered by Bioderma is paraben free! This is the one I use.

After using it, most users have reported that their skin feels softer noticeably. It also just takes about two cotton balls to swipe out any makeup on the skin for most users, including me. I am not a heavy makeup user but ensuring that I use the best product that supports my skin’s health is very important to me.

I tried Garnier micellar water but it wasn’t as efficient in removing makeup and definitely didn’t leave my skin feeling as hydrated as the former micellar water I mentioned.

It is costlier than other options in the market but I still prefer Bioderma micellar water — what do I say? I am loyal to it! I can’t imagine using any other product now for cleansing my face after a day out or if I want to remove any makeup! I think it gives great value for money and is worth so much more than its price! As Seth Godin states in his book ‘This is Marketing’ — “If your product or service makes things better, the customer will stick with you and you’ll generate that lifetime value.”

This was not a paid promotion post — just a product which is my personal favorite that I wanted to share with you! 😊 Do give it a try and share your experience with me!
