A few apps with more complete data when you travel in Russia.
Yandex Metro: maps all the metro stations and lines in Moscow and Saint Petersburg (as well as in Kiev, Kharkiv, Minsk and Istanbul). Available in English, in Russian and in Ukrainian languages.
Yandex Taxi: an alternative to Uber in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Samara and other touristic cities in Russia.
Yandex Trains: check train times, the ticket price and platform number. It works offline. Covers large part of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Lithuania.
Yandex Transport: only for Moscow and Saint Petersburg, to find the most convenient routes by bus, train, tram or metro.
2GIS: a 3D city map including transportation stops and routes.
