Reap the Whirlwind and make your project a reality! Prizes for the best entries include free listing and funding of up to $10,000.

WHIRL offers a totally new approach to crypto crowdfunding with an ecosystem that incentivises mutual participation and engagement — ensuring that no listed project goes unfunded. To get things started and build momentum, we’re running a major competition to attract the best entrepreneurs and projects to our platform and community. Over the next three weeks, starting on 15 November, we’ll be looking for campaigns to list for free, with three of them being funded to the tune of up to $10,000!

Here’s how it works…

  1. Register on the platform
  2. Create a new campaign, including the amount you want to raise
  3. Best campaigns will be selected and granted with up to 30,000 Karma points for free

How do I win?

Write a strong pitch, a comprehensive description and convincing narrative, and accompany this with images, video and other supporting materials if you can. The more information you can give us about your project, the better your chances of success.

What my project can be about?

Low-quality campaigns — i.e. those with a limited or poor description, badly thought-through ideas and unconvincing business case — will not pass moderation. Certain topics will be disallowed on principle. For example, we will not approve any project that deals with illegal, adult, dangerous or unethical themes. We will also steer clear of religious or political topics.

Otherwise your campaign may be — just anything.

Project teams must also actively promote the contest and their entry across all public channels at their disposal, including on Facebook, Twitter and Reddit. WHIRL’s marketing team will promote the listed campaigns among the crypto and broader crowdfunding communities, raising awareness of all approved projects.

When the competition ends, WHIRL will select the best projects for free listing, choosing three for additional funding, if required. While the intention is for the community to fund the projects they view as most promising, WHIRL will top that up or even fund them exclusively with up to $10,000.

All entrants will need to meet KYC requirements before they can list their campaign. We regret that at this point, WHIRL is not open to US citizens due to legal restrictions — something we hope to solve as soon as possible.

The contest will run from Thursday 15 November for two weeks, ending on 1 December. The winning entries will be announced shortly afterwards.

We look forward to receiving your entries, and good luck!
