If you got an error while editing IAP subscription at Google Play Console. SOLVED

To monetize some of our applications, we use the subscription model through an In-App Purchase (IAP). Periodically, Google adds newly countries to the console with local currency. In this case, when editing the IAP, you need to set the price for the new country. Recently, Jordan has become such a new added country.

We decided to renew IAP subscription details and add subscription cost to this new Jordan country. After successfully changing the price and clicking on the Save button, we received the error “Please check the list below for problems” and “You need to set your product price”. We tried to change other purchase parameters (Free trial period, price in other countries, etc.), but nothing helped. It was not possible to save or change the current IAP subscription.

We contacted developer support. Sent all the information.

But the SOLUTION to the problem came unexpectedly.

‘Introductory price’ has been set in our IAP. It was less than the standard subscription price. While we talked with support, we decided to remove the Introductory price and click SAVE and … everything was saved.

After we removed the ‘Introductory price’, we successfully saved the price for the new country Jordan. After that, we made the necessary changes to the IAP settings of the subscription and successfully saved it.

Then we reported to Google’s support team the results.
