Stop the motion to make your cartoon
Do you remember the animated cartoon Wallace and Gromit? Or those short and funny lego cartoons?
So that everyone who enjoys animation and always wanted to create his own cartoon we made a simple StopMotion app.
Stop Motion is a filmmaking technique in which physical objects can change their location frame-by-frame, creating the illusion of real movement.
The application provides a special mode of translucent overlay on the current frame in the camera: you can align objects and determine exactly how to position objects to get the right movement in the frame.
We tried to make intuitive navigation in the app so even a 5-years old child could create his cartoon.
Once launched, you click the create project button, select the video orientation, and start creating. Our app also has a simple editing process after filming. The user can stretch, duplicate and move frames on the timeline:
What else:
- image zoom and transparency setting of the previous frame
- viewing the footage
- the ability to set the frame rate
- stream export to video format;
And it is also possible to share the cartoon with friends on any social network!
We believe the app is ideal for creating cartoons and spending time together between parents and children, as well as creating interesting content for a personal blog!
