My fingers bleed,
As they cling on
To the broken rim of the glass,
With your touch on them.

Oh! I love your lips!
I love the way it kisses that intoxicating liquid!
I am jealous . . . jealous of that wine-coloured crockery
That bears your touch so proudly.

Why? Why do you keep me away?
Like a bad memory hidden in your heart
Or a useless tool thrown into the attic.
Look at my love, Love!

Drown yourself into my eyes, feel my breath
Step into my shadows and find yourself.
I want to gift a sky of a thousand illuminating stars
Only if you cast your shiny eyes and approve my presence.

Hold my hand, lift me up
For bitterness fills me up to the brim.
Your thoughts make me dizzy, I feel vulnerable —
Like a mountain of words, struggling to erupt like a volcano inside me!
