Bitcoin Halving Is Here!

Block halving is an event that happens once roughly every four years. It means that the block reward miners receive for solving a block is reduced by half.

In 2020 Bitcoin halving, the total number of Bitcoins mined per block was reduced from 12.5 to 6.25.

Holding Bitcoin has become more profitable because its value is likely to increase.

After the first two halvings, the price of Bitcoin rose and that’s what is expected from this halving too. The prices usually go up because the rate at which new Bitcoins enter the market is reduced and the Stock-to-Flow ratio is disturbed.
