Minor Spoilers for My Hero Academia Seasons 1–4

Shoto Todoroki has one of the most powerful quirks in My Hero Academia. From his right side, he can instantly produce mountains of ice. From his left, he creates fire so intense the heat can be felt across a stadium. Today, I’d like to investigate how this power works and examine all the coolest(and hottest) things Todoroki can do with it.

I’ll be working under the assumption that quirks result from highly specific instances of long-range quantum tunneling — the process of matter and energy popping from one location to another because of the fundamental uncertainty in their position— and quantum fluctuations triggered by an unseen megastructure.
