Addressing Medium’s Left Wing Bias.

Does the vast majority of the Medium staff have a left wing bias? Yes. The company is based in San Francisco, California which practically screams left wing in of itself. However, Medium is not entirely to blame for the lack of conservative voices. The fact is that there are a lot of conservatives who still don’t know about this platform to begin with so maybe the conservative writers on here like Jack Gerard, Stephen Perkins, Markeece Young, Cole Trickle, and myself should try to bring more of our colleagues to Medium and increase the conservative audience. I’ve also stared a publication here on Medium called MediaStrike which currently only has one person contributing: me.

So while I agree with Jay Maynard that Medium has a liberal bias problem, I also believe that it is our responsibility to bring more conservative voices here and even up the conversation.
